Activist Shareholder’s Board Nominee Shown to Have Potential Conflict 

A public company faced an activist seeking to install new board directors and pressure the company to sell one of its brands.

We were engaged to investigate the activist’s nominees and discovered that one of the board candidates had failed to report current business ties that could pose a conflict with respect to the proposed position.
