Partner and Head of Quinlan Partners’ Charleston office, Chris brings over 12 years of experience practicing law and applies a seasoned legal mindset to diligence and investigations. His work across legal and investor clients includes both public open-source research and human-source intelligence, offering distinctly tailored investigative approaches to meet client needs.
Chris provides investor clients with invaluable, real-time intelligence to help identify risk-relevant issues and pressure test investment theses. His significant experience in pre-investment and pre-relationship due diligence, executive vetting, and business and strategic intelligence make him a trusted and highly sought-after resource for private equity and other investor clients. Chris prioritizes understanding his clients' core concerns and areas of interest, and structures projects to provide intelligence in nuanced, industry-specific situations. Leveraging his legal experience, he provides clients reasoned perspective and assists in evaluating potential risks and other considerations.
For law firm clients, Chris leverages his experience from more than a decade of practicing law to provide assistance in all stages of disputes, including assisting in pre-litigation risk evaluation, discovery, and trial preparation. As an attorney, he represented companies and individuals in civil and criminal investigations and litigation, primarily involving complex federal regulatory programs, and handled all phases of complex civil and criminal litigation. Chris’ experience includes representing clients in high-profile, transnational criminal investigations, as well as conducting internal investigations and audits, advising clients regarding complex real estate and other transactions, and conducting and overseeing project-related diligence.
