Melkorka Licea

Senior Associate

Melkorka Licea is a senior associate at Quinlan’s New York office, and specializes in conducting comprehensive interviews for bespoke investigative projects examining companies and executives. 

Prior to joining Quinlan, Melkorka worked as a senior investigative features reporter at Business Insider where she broke stories exposing instances of fraud, abuse, and sexual misconduct at some of the most powerful companies in the U.S. and abroad. Before that she was a senior enterprise reporter at the New York Post. Melkorka’s reporting on the misuses of funds and sexual harassment at events company Pollen was awarded second place by the LA Press Club in the business/arts/tech category. Her reporting has been featured in the BBC documentary “Crashed: $800m Festival Fail,” Investigation Discovery’s “New York Post Reports: Off the Record,” Channel 4’s “The Amazon Review Killer,” and more. She has been interviewed by SiriusXM, BBC Radio, and iHeartRadio about her work. She graduated from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
